We spent some time at the pier yahooing and trying to get Jamie out of the ocean before making our way to Sitges' bars. Another fact mentioned in my last post was that Sitges' is the gay capital of Spain. This made our night all the more fun and fabulous. Our first point of call was Sitges' famous Queenz bar. As soon as we walked in I was at home. The music was great, the dancing was competitive and there were poles. The poles would later be the scene of a dancing competition between a local and I. I believe Queenz was Will's favourite bar of the night too as the bouncer, who had a mohawk and tight mesh tank, left his post to buy Will a drink.
After drinking what felt like everything in Barcelona, our stomachs needed serious relining. We went for lunch on the water and told stories of the night before. After lunch we stumbled across a bar on the beach where we could sit in the sand and take in the sunshine. It was a great way to spend New Years Day resting our tender heads.
